Cathedral Rock National Park

Location
Waterfall Way (70km east of Armidale)

Cathedral Rock National Park is scattered with giant boulders, sculpted rock and distinctive granite tors.

The park provides many opportunities for bushwalking, bird watching and camping. The 360 degree view from the top of the rock is magnificent and well worth the climb. Camping and picnic facilities are located at Barokee and Native Dog Creek Rest areas within the park. Camping fees apply.

Directions: Cathedral Rock is situated 70km east of Armidale on the Waterfall Way(Armidale-Grafton Road). There are two main access points, a narrow gravel road (8km) to the Barokee Rest Area and the Ebor-Guyra road gives access to the Dog Creek Rest Area, 10 km from the Armidale-Grafton Road.
